Sharing Success Grant Opportunity
Barry Electric Cooperative deeply values the insights of our members regarding the areas in our communities that can benefit the most from additional funding. In alignment with the cooperative principle of Concern for Community, the Directors of Barry Electric Cooperative have established a committee composed of representatives from each of our three districts. By utilizing funds from Barry Technologies, d.b.a. goBEC Fiber Network, we have actively participated in the CoBank Sharing Success matching grant program. Since 2020, our Co-op has successfully allocated a remarkable total of $60,000 back into the communities we proudly serve.
We consider it a privilege to provide financial support to groups and organizations within our service area, enabling them to advance their missions. Our sincere hope is that this funding serves as a true blessing, empowering them to make a meaningful impact in our communities.
If you are aware of a 501(c)(3) organization or program that has a specific financial need, we encourage you to click the link below and submit an application. All applications must be submitted by September 30th annually, and recipients will be notified by the end of Fall each year.
